Alterations Specialist

Job Description

As an Alterations Specialist, you will be responsible for altering and repairing garments to meet our clients' specific requirements. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. You'll collaborate with a close-knit team and contribute to the creation of bespoke fashion pieces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fittings and provide expert advice to clients about alterations.
• Assess garments and recommend appropriate changes.
• Perform emergency repairs for urgent customer requests.
• Utilize pattern-making and sewing software when necessary.
• Train junior staff in sewing techniques and quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Clothing and Textile Production or equivalent
• Diploma in Fashion Design is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in garment alteration and repair
