Responsibilities

  • Prepare a range of pork cuts and ensure quality control.
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and storage areas.
  • Work collaboratively within the kitchen team to ensure efficient service.
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff regarding customer needs.
  • Keep an organized workspace and follow recipe guidelines.
  • Participate in food safety training and implement regulations daily.
  • Engage actively in team brainstorming for new dishes and specials.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries of meat and produce.
  • Adhere to portion control and waste management practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor certificate is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
