We are seeking skilled Rail Car Repairers to join our team in Melbourne. In this role, you will maintain and repair interlocking systems that ensure the safe operation of train services. A strong technical background and attention to detail are essential to succeed in this dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain interlocking systems for train safety.
• Collaborate with engineers to enhance system functionality.
• Document all maintenance and repair work completed.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations during all processes.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system malfunctions.
• Engage in ongoing training for new technologies and techniques.
• Provide guidance to junior staff as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification as an Electrician or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience working in the railway industry.

• Interlocking Software Systems
• Electrical Testing Equipment

Certifications

• Railway Signalling Systems Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
