Job Description

As a Single Needle Tufting Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality tufted carpets. Your responsibilities will encompass operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting tufting machines, ensuring that every piece produced meets our rigorous quality standards. You will load materials, set up machine parameters, and conduct regular inspections to prevent defects. Responsibilities

• Operate single needle tufting machines and produce carpet samples.
• Conduct material quality checks prior to loading onto machines.
• Implement machine adjustments based on inspection feedback.
• Perform detailed inspections on finished products for compliance with quality standards.
• Utilize basic mechanical skills to conduct preventive maintenance.
• Train and supervise junior operators as required.
• Assist in the implementation of process improvements and efficiencies.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of safety practices in the workplace.
• Actively communicate with supervisors concerning production progress.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant vocational training preferred

Experience

• Experience with other carpet manufacturing processes is a plus.
