We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Ballarat. This role involves designing, analysing, and detailing structures for various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in structural design and a passion for delivering innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative structural designs that meet project requirements and budget.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements.
• Provide on-site support during construction phases to ensure compliance with designs.
• Oversee quality control measures during the construction process.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather project requirements and feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural design and analysis

Technical Skills

• SAP2000
• Finite Element Analysis

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Registered Engineer in Victoria

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Advanced knowledge of Earthquake Engineering: Expertise in designing structures to withstand seismic events.
• Experience in Offshore Structures: Experience with marine engineering and offshore structures.
