As a Buyers and Purchasing Agent, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality farm produce, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the freshness and quality of our products. We are looking for a passionate individual with a keen understanding of market trends and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international produce suppliers.
• Coordinate with growers and farmers to ensure a consistent supply of fresh and high-quality produce.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of agreements with suppliers.
• Monitor the performance and compliance of suppliers, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with standards.
• Keep accurate records of purchasing activities and supplier contracts.
• Participate in industry events and trade shows to network with suppliers.
