Job Description

As a Budget Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial aspects of various projects. You will develop budgets, monitor expenses, and provide financial updates to stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage detailed budget forecasts for multiple projects.
  • Monitor costs against the budget and investigate variances.
  • Provide support in financial reporting and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Utilize budgeting software for effective financial management.
  • Train project teams on budget management practices.
  • Assist in audits and compliance checks related to financial practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Master's is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering project management is desirable
