Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support our team within a fast-paced forensic pathology environment. The successful candidate will assist in post-mortem examinations, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Pathologist during post-mortem examinations.
• Prepare the deceased for examination by cleaning and disinfecting.
• Collect and document samples for laboratory analysis.
• Assist in dissection and organ removal procedures.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and protocols.
• Contribute to the preparation of detailed reports and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Graduation in a relevant health field

Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a medical or pathology environment

Technical Skills

• Forensic Pathology Knowledge
• Lab Equipment Handling

Soft Skills

Advantageous

• Experience in forensic pathology: Hands-on experience in a forensic setting is highly valued.
