The Blind Teacher will be responsible for delivering educational content to visually impaired students. We’re looking for someone with experience in special education and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by visually impaired learners.
Responsibilities
Design educational experiences for visually impaired learners.
Implement effective teaching strategies that facilitate learning.
Work with support staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding educational plans and student needs.
Ensure all instructional materials are accessible and appropriately modified.
Stay updated on assistive technologies and methodologies.
Mentor support staff and collaborate in classroom settings.
Attend relevant workshops and training sessions.
Document and report on student progress regularly.
Foster a positive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in Special Education or related field preferred
Experience
Experience working with other disabilities is advantageous.
