Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Industrial Electrical Technology Instructor to lead practical training sessions in a Vocational Education and Training (VET) setting. The successful candidate will harness their extensive industry knowledge to teach students about electrical technology, engaging them with real-world applications and ensuring they are job-ready.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging lesson plans and materials for industrial electrical subjects.
  • Lead hands-on practical training sessions using industry-standard equipment.
  • Monitor and report on student attendance and engagement.
  • Foster a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Conduct regular assessments to gauge student understanding and skills acquisition.
  • Work with industry partners to enhance training programs and keep them relevant.
  • Attend professional development workshops to continually improve teaching methods.
  • Incorporate feedback from students to refine course content.
  • Assist in the coordination of assessments and examinations.
  • Engage with parents or guardians about student progress as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial electrical technology

Certifications

Languages
