Echocardiographer

Job Description

As an Echocardiographer, you will play a pivotal role in our Cardiology and Imaging team, performing echocardiograms and leveraging your expertise in non-invasive ultrasound technology to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a variety of echocardiographic studies to assist with patient evaluation.
• Work closely with the cardiology team to facilitate a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of imaging protocols and suggest improvements based on best practices.
• Mentor junior staff and provide training on echocardiographic techniques and protocols.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations during procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through ARDMS or CCI.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting performing echocardiograms.
