As an Echocardiographer, you will play a pivotal role in our Cardiology and Imaging team, performing echocardiograms and leveraging your expertise in non-invasive ultrasound technology to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions.
Responsibilities
Conduct a variety of echocardiographic studies to assist with patient evaluation.
Work closely with the cardiology team to facilitate a comprehensive approach to patient care.
Evaluate the effectiveness of imaging protocols and suggest improvements based on best practices.
Mentor junior staff and provide training on echocardiographic techniques and protocols.
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations during procedures.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through ARDMS or CCI.
Experience
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting performing echocardiograms.
