Material Moving Worker (Skip Loader)

Job Description

As a Material Moving Worker, you will be responsible for operating skip loader trucks for waste collection and disposal. The ideal candidate should possess a valid heavy vehicle license and be familiar with waste management regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate skip loaders to pick up waste.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment and report issues.
• Follow pre-established routes for efficiency.
• Collaborate with other team members to manage waste effectively.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Keep documentation of daily operations and report to the supervisor.
• Attend training sessions on safety practices and updates in regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or certificate in relevant field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a skip loader operator or similar role.
