Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Food and Tobacco Roasting, Baking, and Drying Machine Operators to join our team at Healthy Snacks Ltd. You will be responsible for operating machinery that processes various fruits into healthy dried products. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that our products meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Run and monitor the drying process, adjusting equipment settings as needed.
• Perform quality checks on raw and dried fruit products to ensure proper standards.
• Keep a clean workspace, following the company's cleanliness and sanitation guidelines.
• Record production data and maintain accurate logs for quality assurance.
• Support the Production Manager with daily operational tasks.
• Help coordinate the shift changes and ensure handover of production data.
• Work in partnership with the Quality Control Team to implement improvements.
• Engage in continuous learning about production processes and food safety.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
• Report any issues or concerns regarding machinery or product quality promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate II or III in Food Processing or equivalent experience

Experience

• At least 1 year of experience operating food processing equipment, preferably in drying.

Technical Skills

• Food Safety Standards
• Basic Computer Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of different drying methods: Familiarity with various fruit drying techniques.
• Previous quality control experience: Experience in a quality control position is highly regarded.
