Job Description

As a Textile Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating knitting and weaving machines. Your hands-on experience will help ensure the efficient production of high-quality textiles while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform set-up tasks to prepare machines for production runs.
  • Routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure peak performance.
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products to guarantee quality standards.
  • Communicate with supervisors about production goals and machine issues.
  • Utilize industry knowledge to improve machine efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Support production schedule adherence by managing machine outputs.
  • Document and report all issues affecting the production line promptly.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Textile Manufacturing or similar
  • Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering is a plus
Experience
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in textiles
