Job Description
As a Textile Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating knitting and weaving machines. Your hands-on experience will help ensure the efficient production of high-quality textiles while adhering to safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Perform set-up tasks to prepare machines for production runs.
Routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure peak performance.
Inspect raw materials and finished products to guarantee quality standards.
Communicate with supervisors about production goals and machine issues.
Utilize industry knowledge to improve machine efficiency and reduce downtime.
Support production schedule adherence by managing machine outputs.
Document and report all issues affecting the production line promptly.
Comply with health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
Education
Certificate III in Textile Manufacturing or similar
Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering is a plus
Experience
2-4 years of relevant experience in textiles
