Operating Engineer - Elevating Grader Operator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Elevating Grader Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will operate and maintain an elevating grader to level and grade various types of terrain, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Utilise the elevating grader to achieve specified grading and levelling.
• Service and maintain equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Interpret and act on construction plans and specifications accurately.
• Ensure a clean and safe work area by following safety protocols.
• Support other construction tasks as needed, promoting teamwork.
• Assist in identifying potential hazards at job sites and mitigating risks.
• Maintain accurate records of machinery usage and operational logs.

Requirements

Education

• Current Australian driver's license
• Valid construction induction card (White Card)
• Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related field is preferable.

Experience

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience operating heavy machinery.
