Job Description

The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator (EHS Coordinator) is responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations. This role involves developing risk management policies, conducting training sessions, and performing regular audits to ensure a safe workplace.

Responsibilities

• Establish safety metrics and track performance against established benchmarks.
• Review and assess risk assessments and safety plans.
• Facilitate meetings to discuss safety performance and improvement areas.
• Create awareness programs and ensure documented training records.
• Lead internal audits and facilitate external audits.
• Maintain safety documentation and records in compliance with legal requirements.
• Provide safety consultation on new projects and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Environmental Management or Occupational Health and Safety preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in health and safety management roles.
