We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team in Cairns. This role involves designing, developing, and supervising large-scale civil engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess a sound understanding of engineering principles and demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical deliverables of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs and drawings.
• Conduct site surveys and assessments.
• Collaborate with contractors to ensure design intent is achieved.
• Report on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.
• Draft and review engineering documentation for accuracy.
• Provide expert advice to clients regarding civil engineering matters.
• Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders throughout project life cycles.
• Engage with communities to promote sustainable engineering initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Microsoft Project

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Analytical Skills

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent
