Job Description

Join us as an Airplane Woodworker, where you will play a key role in crafting high-quality wooden parts for aviation. You will work alongside engineers and designers to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Construct and repair wooden aircraft components according to specifications.
  • Work with composite materials when necessary.
  • Adhere to safety standards and quality controls.
  • Participate in design meetings to contribute woodworking expertise.
  • Operate CNC machines and other advanced woodworking tools.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on equipment and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations regarding aircraft components.
  • Provide technical support to the team as needed.
  • Assist with inventory management of woodworking materials.

Requirements

Education
  • Completion of a woodworking apprenticeship or equivalent experience
  • Certificate IV in Engineering or similar field is advantageous
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in woodworking, particularly in aviation or high-precision environments.
