Job Description

As an OB/GYN Hospitalist, you will provide essential obstetric and gynecologic care to patients within a hospital environment. You will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide surgical and medical expertise in managing obstetric and gynecologic cases.
  • Facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient care quality.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations of patient health and wellbeing.
  • Engage in research and clinical trials to advance obstetric and gynecologic care.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with patients and their families, ensuring comfort and support.
  • Participate in hospital committees focused on improving healthcare services.
  • Train and mentor junior medical staff and residents in obstetric and gynecologic care.
  • Advise on best practices in obstetrics and gynecology to ensure optimum patient outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Additional qualifications in maternal-fetal medicine are advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in high-risk obstetrics
