Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cairns. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing electrical systems and components for various projects. You will work closely with other engineering disciplines to articulate project goals and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure material quality.
• Review engineering designs for accuracy and performance.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical reports.
• Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate with stakeholders.
• Implement energy-efficient solutions to reduce operational costs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar

Experience

• 5 years of experience in electrical engineering is preferred

• PLC Programming

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
