Job Description

As a Shift Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery essential to our manufacturing processes. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs smoothly, meeting both quality standards and production schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor production output and ensure machinery is performing effectively.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on production equipment.
  • Work with the team to achieve daily production goals.
  • Report any machinery faults to management promptly.
  • Maintain compliance with safety regulations and operational policies.
  • Train and mentor new operators on equipment usage.
  • Assist with inventory control of materials and supplies.
  • Implement best practices to improve production efficiency.
  • Engage in problem solving to maximize resource utilization.
  • Document performance metrics and submit reports to supervisors.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certifications in manufacturing processes are preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar or related role
