Job Description

As a Fabric and Apparel Patternmaker at Creative Apparel Co., you'll play a vital role in our design process, ensuring that our clothing products are both fashionable and functional. You will collaborate closely with designers, translating creative visions into precise pattern charts, which are essential for production. Your attention to detail and expertise will assist us in maintaining the high standards our brand is known for.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document pattern specifications for all new products.
• Participate in design brainstorming sessions to contribute to innovative ideas.
• Perform quality checks on completed garments to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Adapt patterns for various sizes and fabrics based on production needs.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding pattern requirements.
• Maintain a library of existing patterns and charts for reference.
• Provide feedback on production processes to improve overall efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or Textile Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Patternmaker in the fashion industry
