Job Description

The Production Engine Repairer will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining production engines in an industrial setting. The ideal candidate must possess strong attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills to ensure operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of production engines to identify necessary repairs.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize engine downtime.
• Document all repairs and maintenance activities for compliance and auditing purposes.
• Provide technical support and training to junior mechanics as needed.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations regarding engine emissions and waste management.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing issues and share best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in engine repair.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Trade qualifications highly regarded

Experience

• At least 3 years' experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Engine repair expertise
• Pneumatic systems knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent
