Job Description

Looking for an experienced Aerographer to analyze meteorological data for aviation requirements. The successful candidate will provide timely weather forecasts, ensuring safe flight operations and effective communication with aviation personnel.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex meteorological data for accurate forecasting.
• Present weather forecasts to pilots and other aviation personnel.
• Develop and refine weather models to enhance forecasting accuracy.
• Document and maintain records of weather observations and forecasts.
• Create visual presentations of weather data for strategic meetings.
• Participate in emergency response planning related to weather impacts.
• Review and improve operational procedures based on meteorological insights.
• Conduct fieldwork to gather climate data from various locations.
• Engage in continuous professional development opportunities.
• Support the development of best practices in meteorological analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Meteorology or related field
• Professional certification in meteorology is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in meteorology, preferably in aviation.
