Job Description

As an Electrical and Electronics Repairer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing gears crucial for the operation of various heavy machinery. Your role is essential to ensure equipment runs smoothly and efficiently. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background.

Responsibilities

  • Review technical manuals and schematics for equipment.
  • Identify and resolve potential mechanical issues before they escalate.
  • Collaborate with production and R&D teams for new gear systems.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex gear mechanisms.
  • Ensure the workshop and equipment are maintained to the highest standard.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare reports on gear performance and maintenance efficiency.
  • Mentor apprentices and new employees in best practices.
  • Support shift changes and provide handover reports.
  • Contribute to the development of maintenance strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Trade qualification in mechanical engineering or related field
  • Certification in CAD or mechanical maintenance is preferable
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or heavy industry setting
Technical Skills
  • Understanding of ISO gear standards
  • Experience with CNC gear cutting machines
Soft Skills
  • Problem-solving
  • Time management
Languages
  • English: Fluent
