Job Description

The College Faculty Member will play an essential role in guiding students through their academic journey, focusing on teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in History. You will not only educate through lectures but also mentor students in research and career development, fostering a rich academic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop syllabi and course materials for courses taught.
  • Utilize technology and online platforms to enhance learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members on interdisciplinary programs.
  • Participate in and promote research activities within the department.
  • Engage with alumni to offer insights for current students.
  • Contribute to departmental hiring processes and faculty evaluations.
  • Conduct assessments of course effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in History or related field
  • Evidence of scholarly publication is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience at the higher education level.
