Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Textile Cutting Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the performance of cutting machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust cutting machines according to specifications and production needs.
• Troubleshoot machine faults and repair equipment as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of cutting machines to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
• Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Document all maintenance activities and repair logs accurately.
• Perform emergency repairs to minimize production disruptions.
• Assist in training programs for new machine operators.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Relevant vocational qualifications are preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD software: Knowledge of CAD software for design and planning.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems: Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic machine operations.
