We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing projects aimed at improving environmental outcomes. You will work on innovative solutions that tackle air, water, and soil quality issues, while ensuring compliance with Australian environmental laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental impact assessments for projects.
• Create strategies for waste management and resource conservation.
• Monitor air and water quality. Implement improvement strategies.
• Research emerging environmental technologies for application.
• Advise on sustainability practices for construction and development.
• Draft environmental policies for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments related to environmental hazards.
• Coordinate with governmental bodies for environmental permits.
• Facilitate training for staff on environmental best practices.
• Engage with stakeholders on compliance and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or a related role
