Job Description

As a Retort Forker, you will play a crucial role in our production team, responsible for safely moving retorts within our state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.
  • Monitor production workflow and assist in maintaining efficiency.
  • Adhere to all company policies regarding health and safety.
  • Train new employees on equipment operation and safety protocols.
  • Document inventory levels and assist in stocktaking.
  • Respond promptly to any safety incidents according to procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team for product integrity.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the team.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in warehouse management is preferred
Experience
  • Experience in food manufacturing industry is advantageous.
