Job Description

As a Civil Engineer in Geelong, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing infrastructure projects to promote sustainable development. Your work will focus on effective project management, stakeholder engagement, and delivering innovative engineering solutions that meet regulatory and community standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to inform project scope and design.
• Collaborate with architects, planners, and other engineers to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Prepare project documentation and reports, including technical specifications and regulatory submissions.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
• Attend project meetings and liaise with clients and stakeholders to discuss project progress and address concerns.
• Evaluate and oversee construction processes to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare reports on project status and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering
