Job Description

As a Residential Advisor, you'll play a crucial role in creating a safe and supportive living environment for students. You will manage resident assistants and develop programs that enhance student engagement. Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the residential hall and make decisions on policy enforcement.
  • Engage with students to understand their needs and improve their residential experience.
  • Collaborate with external departments to provide resources and support to residents.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in the hall.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with residents to address concerns proactively.
  • Implement conflict resolution strategies among residents.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support resident assistants in their professional development.
  • Manage records related to hall operational activities.
  • Participate in campus committees and initiatives related to student life.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling or Social Work is advantageous
Experience
  • 3 years of experience in residential life or student support services.
