Job Description

As a Make Ready Mechanic, your primary responsibility is to prepare vehicles for sale or lease. This includes conducting thorough inspections, performing essential repairs and maintenance, and ensuring that all vehicles meet the stringent quality standards set by the company. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections and repairs on various vehicle makes and models.
• Document all diagnostics and repairs for efficiency and traceability.
• Work closely with parts department staff to ensure timely availability of required components.
• Test drive vehicles after repairs to confirm quality and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist in training junior mechanics and apprentices.

Requirements

Education

• Current driver's license

Experience

• Experience with hybrid or electric vehicles is advantageous.
