Motion Picture Projectionist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Motion Picture Projectionist to operate and oversee cinema equipment, ensuring that every film screening runs smoothly and seamlessly. This role involves maintaining equipment and providing excellent customer service to enhance the cinema experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the setup and operation of projection equipment for various events.
• Provide troubleshooting support during show times.
• Engage with customers, ensuring their needs are met during their visit.
• Oversee the cleanliness of projection areas and public spaces.
• Conduct pre-show checks to ensure all equipment functions correctly.
• Support management in daily operational tasks.
• Assist with training new staff members on equipment usage.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with cinema operations is advantageous

Experience

• No prior experience required, but customer service or hospitality experience is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of audiovisual equipment
• Point of Sale (POS) systems proficiency

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration
• Flexible communication

Languages

• English: Fluent
