Are you passionate about adventure and the great outdoors? We are seeking a skilled Raft Guide to lead our clients through exhilarating white water rafting trips. You will play a vital role in ensuring safety and delivering memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead adventurous rafting expeditions while ensuring safety.
• Conduct training sessions for new guides as required.
• Evaluate client skills and adjust trip difficulty accordingly.
• Encourage environmental stewardship among clients.
• Work with the operations team to manage logistics.
• Attend regular team meetings to discuss safety and customer service.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance and necessary repairs.
• Network with local businesses to foster partnerships.
• Identify opportunities for service improvements based on client feedback.
• Support tour marketing efforts by sharing experiences on platforms.

Requirements

Education

• Whitewater guide training program completion
• Valid driver's license and reliable transport

Experience

• 2+ years of experience leading rafting trips preferred

Technical Skills

• Rescue procedures
• Equipment maintenance

Soft Skills

• Teamwork

Certifications

• Advanced Water Safety certification
• Lead Raft Guide certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Additional certifications: Having Swift Water Rescue or Wilderness First Responder certification is beneficial.
