Job Description

Join our team as a Motion Picture Projectionist, where you will play a key role in the cinema experience. Your responsibilities will include operating film projectors, maintaining equipment, and ensuring show quality for our audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation of cinema projectors during screenings.
  • Ensure films are projected at the right speed and focus.
  • Assist with special events and private screenings.
  • Collaborate with the technical operations team for equipment upkeep.
  • Address any technical issues promptly to maintain audience satisfaction.
  • Train new staff on equipment use and safety protocols.
  • Stay updated on film technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Screen and Media or equivalent qualification
  • First aid certificate is required
Experience
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience operating film projectors in a cinema environment preferred
