Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Router Tender to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of routers, and you'll ensure the production of quality wooden products. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be crucial to our success.

Responsibilities

• Operate and control routers for cutting, shaping, and trimming materials.
• Review production orders and specifications to determine routing requirements.
• Inspect materials for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Adjust router settings, feeds, and speeds for optimal performance.
• Maintain and clean machines to ensure longevity and efficiency.
• Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot any technical issues.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
• Document production records accurately to maintain inventory.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the workshop.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in woodworking or related field preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in operating routers or similar woodworking machinery
