Job Description

As a Plating Machine Operator, you will operate and maintain advanced metalizing machines. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring machine operations, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring production standards are met while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor metalizing machines to apply metal coatings effectively.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly; address and report any machine faults.
• Read and interpret production schedules and work orders for efficient processing.
• Inspect products post-coating to ensure they meet specified quality standards.
• Document production logs and report performance metrics to management.
• Maintain a clean work environment and comply with workplace health and safety guidelines.
• Engage in problem-solving when challenges arise during production.
• Collaborate closely with quality control technicians to ensure products meet specifications.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and communicate them to supervisors.
• Provide feedback to the production team to enhance productivity and quality.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• Experience operating metalizing machinery preferred

Technical Skills

• Lean Manufacturing principles
• Basic computer skills

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Strong work ethic

Certifications

• Forklift License (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent
