Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Geographic Information Systems Technologist and Technician to manage and analyse geospatial data. The successful candidate will ensure data accuracy and accessibility while developing effective data management policies.

Responsibilities

  • Administer geospatial databases ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Conduct regular audits of datasets for quality assurance.
  • Develop custom geospatial tools using scripting languages such as Python.
  • Assist in the development of web mapping applications using Leaflet or OpenLayers.
  • Support clients with data-driven decisions through effective data visualisation.
  • Participate in project planning and execution phases, ensuring GIS needs are met.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Geographical Information Systems or related field
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in GIS and data management fields
