Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Explosives Worker to join our mining team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating drilling and blasting equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient extraction of zinc ores.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective blasting plans based on geological assessments.
• Collaborate with the mining supervisor to structure daily operations.
• Record blasting results and analyse performance metrics.
• Ensure that environmental protocols are followed during operations.
• Participate in safety meetings and report findings.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations
• Relevant blasting licence
• First Aid/CPR certification

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in underground mining operations.

Languages

• English: Fluent
