As a Health Physicist at Radiation Safety Services, you will be pivotal in protecting patients and staff from radiation exposure in various healthcare settings. Your expertise will guide the development and implementation of safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead regular training sessions to enhance staff understanding of radiation safety.
• Implement updated safety protocols according to new regulations.
• Advise on the design and evaluation of shielding and safety equipment.
• Conduct public awareness sessions regarding radiation safety in healthcare.
• Research best practices in radiation safety and apply findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Physics, Radiation Science, or a related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in health physics or radiation protection

Technical Skills

• Radiation monitoring equipment
• Radiation safety protocols
• Data analysis

Certifications

• Certification in Radiation Safety
• Master’s degree in Health Physics (preferred)
