Job Description

We are seeking a Digital Curator to manage and preserve our digital collections. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and curating various forms of digital media, ensuring they are accessible and engaging for our audience.

Responsibilities

• Classify and categorize diverse forms of digital media accurately.
• Provide training and support to staff on digital asset management.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand their digital content needs.
• Utilize digital asset management systems effectively for storage and retrieval.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Library Science, or a related field.
• Master's degree in Digital Curation or Humanities is a plus.

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in digital archiving.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with Copyright Laws
• Content Management Systems

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in XML and PDF/A Formats: Knowledge of file formats commonly used in digital preservation.
