Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Biodiesel Engineering Manager to lead the engineering operations in biodiesel production. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of chemical engineering principles and hands-on experience in optimizing biodiesel production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and provide technical guidance to the engineering team involved in biodiesel production and development.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies, plans, and budgets to ensure efficient and cost-effective production processes.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of production equipment.
  • Oversee the design and installation of biodiesel production facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Monitor production equipment and systems for efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimise production operations and improve product quality.
  • Compile comprehensive performance reports for senior management.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends in renewable energy and biodiesel production.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers in biodiesel technology and best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in biodiesel production or related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
