Forging Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender

Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Forging Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting up and operating forging machines, with a focus on producing high-quality components.

Responsibilities

• Set up molds for production runs.
• Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure efficient operation.
• Resolve any issues with mold setup and production processes.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and adjustments.
• Assist in training new employees on equipment operation.
• Adhere to all quality and safety standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• Coordinate with quality control to ensure products meet specifications.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
• Higher technical qualifications are an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in forging or plastics machinery

Technical Skills

• Mold design interpretation
• Robotics and automation

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Effective communication

Certifications

• Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with safety regulations: Understanding of OHS standards and compliance in manufacturing.
