Job Description

We are seeking a Film Reader to join our development team at Creative Productions Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling and cinema, as well as excellent analytical skills to evaluate scripts effectively.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate scripts for narrative cohesion, character development, and market viability.
• Offer constructive feedback and suggest revisions to improve script quality.
• Research relevant themes and topics to inform script evaluation.
• Collaborate with writers and directors to refine project concepts.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new film and television ideas.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and creative work environment.
• Track and assess submissions received for development consideration.
• Develop relationships with writers and agents in the film industry.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Film Studies or a related field
• Experience in film production is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in script reading or development.
