Job Description

We are looking for experienced Rail Yard Engineers, Dinkey Operators, and Hostlers to join our dedicated team in Canberra. This role involves operating and maintaining essential machinery while ensuring safety and efficiency in our operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily checks on operating machinery, ensuring it is in safe working condition.
• Monitor and adjust machinery settings for optimal performance.
• Assist in the training of junior operators and new employees.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the development of safety protocols.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to rectify any machinery faults immediately.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate IV in Warehouse Operations or related field is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years working in a manufacturing or construction environment.

Technical Skills

• Construction Safety
• Equipment Maintenance

• Problem-solving
• Effective Communication

Certifications

• Forklift License
• Working at Heights Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software: Helpful in understanding technical schematics and improving workflow efficiency.
• Experience with logistics operations: Understanding of supply chain management and effective resource allocation.
