Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Shotblaster to join our team in Brisbane. The Shotblaster will play a crucial role in preparing surfaces for coating applications. This involves operating shotblasting equipment to effectively remove rust, dirt, and other contaminants, ensuring surfaces are pristine and ready for further processing. Ideal candidates should have experience in operating advanced shotblasting tools and a keen eye for detail to meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Deploy various shotblasting techniques for differing project requirements.
• Directly collaborate with surface preparation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Evaluate current methods and provide suggestions for improvements.
• Maintain consistent communication with supervisors regarding project status and any challenges faced.

Requirements

Education

• Post-secondary education in a trade or vocational program
• Additional certifications in coating applications is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in shotblasting or related surface preparation fields.
