Job Description

The Recycling Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of our recycling facility. This role involves ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, managing a skilled team, and optimizing recycling processes to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recycling operations ensuring optimal efficiency.
• Lead process improvements to facilitate better waste management practices.
• Develop and deliver training programs for staff on compliance and best practices.
• Engage with local communities to promote recycling initiatives.
• Report to senior management on operational performance and key metrics.
• Cultivate relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
• Implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high service levels.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the recycling or waste management industry, with 2+ years in a management role
