We are seeking an Optometry Professor to lead our optometry program and research initiatives. The ideal candidate will have profound knowledge in optometry, excellent teaching skills, and a strong commitment to advancing eye health education.

Responsibilities

• Instruct courses on various optometry topics while incorporating the latest research.
• Mentor students in research methodologies and encourage scholarly activity.
• Contribute to course curriculum development and assessment.
• Engage in professional development and stay current with industry trends.
• Foster relationships with external stakeholders in educational and clinical settings.
• Develop online learning modules to enhance educational accessibility.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) from an accredited university
• PhD in Optometry or a closely related area preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant teaching and research experience.
