Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer in our Cairns office, you will be tasked with designing, analyzing, and testing mechanical systems. You will work closely with project managers and other engineers to ensure all design specifications meet the necessary standards. Your innovative approach and technical skills will help drive the success of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain project documentation and design records.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials for mechanical designs.
• Monitor project progress and report on key metrics.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and timeframes for engineering projects.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and project management

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
