Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs and specifications.
• Conduct design reviews and provide direction on engineering standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure manufacturability of designs.
• Perform calculations and simulations to validate design integrity.
• Generate technical documentation for designs and processes.
• Identify and resolve design and functionality issues throughout the development process.
• Stay current with industry trends and contribute innovative ideas.
• Engage in project planning and estimate design workloads.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficient in CAD software
• Design for Manufacturing (DFM)

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Leadership abilities

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with project management software: Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project or Trello.
• Experience in renewable energy projects: Background in designing components for renewable energy systems.
